Our Story
Moni-Tax was born from a personal experience.
When our founder’s father fell critically ill, the family shop was doing well — ₦20,000 in daily sales and over ₦500,000 in inventory. Yet every bank refused a ₦200,000 medical loan.
No payslips. No formal records. No credit history.
A distant relative who understood the business finally stepped in and covered the bill. He survived. But thousands of families are not as fortunate.
That moment revealed a hard truth: millions of hardworking Nigerians are creditworthy, yet invisible to the financial system. Moni-Tax exists so that no market trader or shop owner faces a health emergency without a fair way to access credit.
